How did you make this website?

Q: Who started this page?
A: A twenty-something with a passion for travel and writing. She was disgruntled to realize that there was no site like this one already existing. So she created this.

Q: Why don’t you pay for submissions?
A: It’s not feasible at this time, because this website is something of a budget website. All ad revenue goes toward paying the hosting and domain fees, and there’s not much left over. Besides, what we’re looking for are things that travelers share freely, anyway.

Q: What is the goal here?
A: Travelers educating other travelers; passion breeding more passion. We like to think we’re creating a community of passionate travelers sharing what they know, what they’ve seen, and where they’re going. It’s a way to learn more, read the tales of others, and share interesting things from your adventures.

Q: Can I send you anything I want?
A: Sure, within reason. We want things pertaining to travel (obviously), so if it fits in this category, it’s fair game.

Q: I want to send you something that I haven’t seen on your website yet. What can I do?
A: We’re always open to new ideas, so if you have something you want featured on our website, but haven’t seen anything like it yet, don’t worry! Contact us and we’ll talk shop.

Q: I can’t find my country on this website. Where is it?
A: This is a website fresh from the womb of the internet, so please give us time to grow and learn. There are a lot of places to see in this world! Please bear with us as we add more content, more resources, and more advice. This site can’t grow without your input, so feel free to submit.

Q: I didn’t agree with something I read on here. Why do you allow such things?
A: This is the beauty of our gritty globe – each traveler has a different take on life, which shows through their submissions. Because we don’t discriminate in the type of submissions we publish, this allows for a broader range of visitors to glean something meaningful from our content. A submission might be useful to some and not others, but those that click with it will thank that traveler for sharing! However, we DO NOT publish content that is blatantly racist, sexist, profane or vulgar in nature. There are limits, so please keep this in mind while submitting content. We want to help people, not offend, infuriate, harass anger, annoy or ruffle them. If there is something you read that you think deserves to be checked out by us, let us know.

Q: How did you make this website?
A: With a ridiculous amount of google searches on various aspects of website development, harassing friends and family into devoting their skillsets to the project, a decided lack of the requisite knowledge, and sheer determination.
